Welcome to Armenia! Armenia’s culturally rich capital city. Upon completion of your visa formalities, greet your fellow travellers and say hello to your guide. Proceed to your hotel for check-in. You have some free time on your own or you could go on an Optional Yerevan photo-stop guided tour to understand what makes Yerevan the cultural hub of the country. If you choose to wander off on your own, make sure you visit a carpet shop – Armenian Highlands are considered to be the birthplace of eastern carpet and are very unique. On the walking tour, you will see the Republic Square located in the centre of the city and famous for its Singing Fountains. It is also called the Heart of Yerevan and its construction took nearly three decades. The buildings surrounding the Square represent a combination of national style and world architecture. Proceed to the Opera House built in 1933 and one of the most historic landmarks of the city. It is of great cultural significance for the national and an architectural masterpiece. Head towards the Cascade Complex, a giant stairway made of limestone, linking downtown Ketron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighbourhood. After this, explore Yerevan’s historical section. Overnight in Yerevan.

Good morning Yerevan! Wake up to a piping hot breakfast at your hotel. You have the day at your disposal to explore as you please or you could go on an Optional Tour. If you choose to venture out on your own, may we suggest visiting a carpet shop? Armenian Highlands are considered to be the birthplace of eastern carpet and are very unique. If you choose to go on the Optional Tour, proceed to your coach soon after breakfast and head out to the Garni Monastery. This Greek Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in the stunning mountainous countryside and dates back to the first century. It is dedicated to Mitra, the God of the Sun. Centuries ago, there used to be 14 towers here and the bathhouse had a mosaic with the God of the Ocean on it. After this visit, go on the Armenian Lavashak Masterclasses and see how these dried fruit sheets are made. Enjoy a delicious spread of light snacks before heading to Geghard Monastery, a complex overlooking the Azat Valley. Explore the cathedral which is decorated with intricate carvings on the outside and blue frescoes on the inside. If you want to explore further, go climbing around the outside. There are steps up to a second level that held a few caves cut roughly into the stone. On the walls of the main corridor are khachkars, Armenian crosses, carved along the length, each one uniquely designed. Return to Yerevan and go on a tour of Cognac Factory. You have the rest of the evening to continue the exploration of this city, which we are sure you already falling in love with. Overnight in Yerevan.

Tbilisi, Georgia is your destination of today. Hop on to our Coach to start your journey to the emerald of Armenia - "Lake Sevan". Sevan Monastery is nicely nestled dating to the 9th century. We proceed to a piece of Switzerland in Armenia "Dilijan" have stop for lunch and if time permits, we visit the magnificent monastery in Dilijan called Goshavank. Explore the Old Town of Dilijan filled with craftsmen workshops, small shops with traditional Armenian products and crafts, museum, showing typical 19th century living with all its local customs and handmade wood furnishings. Continue drive to Tbilisi crossing Sadakhlo - Bagratasgen border. Enjoy your scenic drive to Tbilisi in the comforts of the private coach service. Welcome to Georgia, the prettiest of all countries in the Caucasus. A small country rich in history and traditions and scores of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Georgia offers a complete holiday – from skiing to beaches and shopping. Famous for its food and wine and of course hot Sulphur baths, Georgia has in the last decade topped every traveller’s bucket list. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Say good morning to Georgia over breakfast at your hotel. Today is a free day for you to explore Tbilisi and its hot baths and monasteries. Or you could go on a full-day Optional Tour. The tour begins soon after breakfast. Board your coach and leave to see some of Georgia’s most famous historic sights. Begin with Mtskheta, one of the oldest cities in Georgia. Head to the Jvari Monastery perched on a hill overlooking the city of Mtskheta. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built in 605 AD. The Jvari church influenced Georgian architecture to a great extent. From here, proceed along the Military Highway and stop at the stunning Jinvali Dam. Proceed to Ananuri Fortress, built on the headland of River Aragvi. This castle structure consists of many churches and a defensive tower and is of the great historical importance of Georgia. Continue towards Gudauri, the adventure hub of Georgia. Explore the Friendship Wall and peer into the deep valleys below. Continue further up towards Kazbegi (now Stepantsminda), the last town of Georgia, and take a jeep tour up the mountain to visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, one of the most sacred churches in the country. Behind the church, majestic mountains soar high into the skies. Return to Tbilisi for your overnight.

Greet your last day in Georgia with a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel. Check out and proceed on the Optional Tour of Tbilisi. On this tour, you will see highlights such as King Vakhtang Goragasali Statue, Metekhi Bridge located in the historic neighbourhood of Tbilisi. Take the cable car up to Narikala Fortress and enjoy stunning views of the city. Visit the Winery and stop for last-minute souvenirs and check out the famous Sulfur baths. Depart to the airport for your return flight home.
