Arrive in Moscow. Meet and greet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check in. Have time to freshen up, then by later afternoon, Proceed to Panoramic Moscow City Tour with stops at the most famous sights: Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral, Christ the Savior Cathedral, GUM department store, Poklonnaya Hill, New Maiden Convent. Drive by Tverskaya Street, Manezhnaya square, Ohotny Riad, Bolshoy theatre, Lubianka square and Kropotkinskaya embankments (no entrances). After city tour, transfer back to hotel. It used to be a residence of Russian tsars and communist leaders and now it’s a working place of the president of Russia. Behind medieval walls, you will discover the oldest square of Moscow and amazing cathedrals where Russian tsars used to get married, crowned and buried. You will see the largest cannon and church bell in the world. 8 hundred years of Russian history in one place! Next, Moscow metro often called an underground palace. "They used to have palaces for kings, we are going to build palaces for the people!" said one of the main architects of the Soviet subway. You will see the most beautiful metro stations in Moscow built under Stalin and reveal the fascinating secrets hidden underground. We will end our excursion walking down the Arbat street. Arbat street is a unique phenomenon both for Moscow and for the whole Russia. It became a pedestrian street after its reconstruction in 1986 and attracts hundreds and thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. The Arbat District was once a location where craftsmen set up shop, and the Arbat’s side streets show evidence of their past with names that describe various trades or products, like Carpenters, Bread, or Silver . Good Morning Moscow! Ring in your first morning with a piping hot breakfast buffet at your hotel. You have a free day to explore Moscow or you could go on the Optional Tour of the Golden Ring Route. This full-day excursion (includes lunch) and covers some of the most famous highlights of the city. The tour begins with a visit to Sergiev Posad. A picturesque drive brings you to the most important city on the Golden Ring Route. This town is famous for one of the most revered monasteries in Russia – the UNESCO-protected Troitse-Sergeiva Lavra. Visit the ever-bustling Krasnogorskaya Square to get stunning views of at least a dozen attractions. This city is also known for the monastery of Chernigovsky Skete founded in 1847 famous for its hand-dug monk cells and prayer caves. After lunch, proceed to the museum of Toys, particularly famous for its collection of matryoshka dolls including the first-ever doll produced in Russia. The museum also features a collection of toys and Christmas tree decorations from around the world. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Moscow.
